The Property

The 135-room Mountain Modern disrupts the typical motel experience with its frontier flare and plaid-to-the-bone stylish and welcoming design, vibrant atmosphere, whimsical delights and more, all at a great value.  Our newly renovated boutique motel puts you smack dab in the heart of Jackson Hole and close to everything this glorious area has to offer.  Here you’re mere steps from the charming Town Square, and on the shuttle route for the Town of Jackson and Teton Village.  The Grand Targhee shuttle also picks up at our front door.  Mountain Modern is the perfect home base for a year-round mountain adventure.

The Rooms and Suites

Enjoy a night in one of these fun and functional rooms!  Have a small party of 2 or 3? Try a Deluxe Queen room with Platform Bunk. Are you traveling with a larger group of friends or family?  Reserve our Deluxe Queen with two Platform Bunks, which sleeps up to five! All of their rooms come standard with mini fridges and microwaves, along with our top of the line amenities. These rooms vary from 275 to 300 square feet.

Deluxe Double Bunk (DBB):  Our double bunk rooms are great for families! They include two queen beds each each under a platform twin bunk.  The room also has a mini-refrigerator and microwave to fit your family's snacking needs.

Deluxe Double Queen (DQQ):  Our most popular room, the standard double queen room is spacious and hosts two queen size beds as well as a microwave and mini-refrigerator.

One Bedroom King Suite with Kitchen: Our newly renovated, residential style One Bedroom King Suites located in downtown Jackson are the perfect choice for your next adventure. Our suites feature a master bedroom with king bed and 3/4 bath, living room with queen sized sofa sleeper and fireplace, a second 3/4 bath, kitchen and private balcony or patio. Sleeps up to four people. 

One Bedroom Two Queen Suite with Kitchen: Our newly renovated, residential style One Bedroom Two Queen Suites located in downtown Jackson are the perfect choice for your next adventure. Our suites feature a master bedroom with two queen beds and full bath, living room with queen sized sofa sleeper and fireplace, a second 1/2 bath, kitchen and private balcony or patio. Sleeps up to six people.

Two Bedroom Suite with Kitchen: Relax in our newly renovated, multi-level, residential style Two Bedroom Suites. Located on the 2nd and 3rd floor, the main level features a kitchen, 1/2 bath, living room with queen sized sofa sleeper, fireplace, and private balcony. Head upstairs and the suites offer a master bedroom with king bed and full bathroom, and a second bedroom with two queen beds and full bathroom. These suites provide amenities unmatched in downtown Jackson Hole. Sleeps up to eight people.

The Lobby

The lobby at Mountain Modern is designed to be a space that guests want to use!  Comfortable and modern, the hotel encourages their guests to take advantage of these amazing shared spaces and in-house coffee shop.  If you’re on your way out for the day, grab a bagel and latte to go, or stick around to enjoy eggs and hash browns on their wrap around deck, in a cozy Adirondack chair!  Whatever your plans for the day, stop by the lobby first to get fueled up for your adventure!

The Pool

Don’t forget your swimsuit! There is no better way to unwind after a day spent adventuring in Jackson Hole than a dip in the indoor heated pool!  Located adjacent to the lobby, this pool is a great way to relax with the family while planning your next day’s outing!
