Jackson Hole Wyoming is an incredible town to grow up in. When my friends and I were adolescents we all used to whine and moan about there not being enough things to do, and we longed for offerings that big cities have like nightclubs and concerts. We quickly got over those feelings and opened up our eyes to the the beauty and excitement of Jackson Hole and its surrounding areas. We realized that we were better off growing up without access to big-city commonplace activities. We were forced to connect with nature and to connect as a close group of friends and forged relationships that will last a life-time.
My friends and I took full advantage of our fortunate situation of growing up in Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole Wyoming offers the best of the best activities during the summer and winter. If you like snow sports than Jackson is undoubtedly one of the best places to live. And then summer comes around and Jackson is undoubtedly one of the most majestic and beautiful places on planet earth. We enjoyed hot springs, deep watering holes in the hoback and snake rivers, camping adventures around Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, fly fishing, wakeboarding, water-skiing, hiking, picnicking, kayaking, canoeing, golfing, longboarding, sledding, hot-tubing, snowskating, snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, and moon-lit descents down Glory Bowl, to name just a few. I could go on and on about all of the fun things we were able to enjoy while growing up in Jackson Hole. Life is good!
One of the most fantastic experiences that I had growing up in Jackson Hole was seeing the northern lights. Early one morning at about 3am I was driving on a neighborhood road with friends when we noticed that the sky was lit up in the most extraordinary way we had ever seen. I thought that aliens were coming to visit us. We all stared in amazement as green, yellow and blue wisps in the air put on a natural and unimaginable light show that I will never forget.
I have traveled to many other U.S. states and other countries in the world, but have so much more to see and do not consider myself the most traveled person. But as I mentioned I have lots of close friends and many of them are extremely well traveled people. They all say that Jackson Hole Wyoming is at the top of their list as far as the best places on this planet. I highly recommend you add it to your bucket list and then cross it off as soon as possible, and then add it to the list again!
