The lifts may have recently stopped turning at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort as we advance into spring, but now is the time of year all foodies, or those of us just looking to score a great deal on a meal, want to be in Jackson. It’s officially off-season in Jackson and that is when the restaurants, who aren’t shuttering their doors to take a well deserved break, are offering great deals to bring in customers. For the die hard downhill enthusiasts, it may be time to put those skis and boards away for the season and bust out those forks. Eating is most definitely the preferred sport of the off-season. Hey if your body is moving we consider it a sport. Here’s an off-season guide to great meal deals going on right now in the town of Jackson.

e. leaven Food Company
The one true “spice” that every chef knows will make your meal taste even better isn’t what they can add to it, but what they can take away. The legendary 2 for 1 entree makes the best meal that much better when you realize what a deal you are getting. They say (probably hungry people) that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The good folks at e. leaven Food Company will get the day started for you and a friend or just yourself if you are really hungry with a glorious 2 for 1 between 8am – 11am, everyday of the off-season except Tuesday. Sorry Tuesdays might be rough, but rest assured the rest of the week you can double up on the huevos rancheros, corned beef hash and eggs, or your favorite omelet and get one of them for free. Kazumi Japanese Cuisine
Saddle up to the sushi bar at Kazumi and get your fix. Same great sushi, but off-season has it’s privileges until April 23 with a buy 2 get 1 speciality roll free. Make sure to mention this special to get the discount. Makes you kind of feel like you are a member of a secret sushi club. Open daily from 11am – 9:30pm.

Rendezvous Bistro
Technically not quite a 2 for 1, but since the extra money goes to charity it might be even better. You can score your second entree at the trendy Rendezvous Bistro and possibly rub elbows with a celebrity for only $2. The Bistro always makes for a great night out. Just imagine getting the Bistro Meatloaf, Grilled Pork Chop, or the famous Waygu Steak Frites for only $2! Open Tuesday – Saturday at 5:30pm.
Roadhouse Brewing Co.
The buy one entree get the second for $2 is also going on at the Roadhouse Brewing Co. This hopping barbecue joint also crafts their own amazing line of beers, which of course go great with a $2 entree. Hopefully the beer will make it easier to decide on just one of their tasty barbecue dishes.
Bin 22
Bin 22 is offering their buy one plate get the second for $2 as a lunch special. Bin 22 offers up some delicious small plate offerings along with one of the best wine menus in the area. Eat, drink, be merry, and support local non-profits.
